Christchurch Boys鈥� High School proudly acknowledges Ng膩i T奴膩huriri as a key advisor and partner in supporting M膩ori student success. Our Wh膩nau Group, representing iwi across Aotearoa, works closely with school leadership to foster achievement and connection.

Monthly Wh膩nau Hui provide an inclusive platform for wh膩nau to share insights and celebrate progress.

E ng膩 mano, e ng膩 rahi, ng膩 hau e wh膩. T膿nei te mihi maioha ki a koutou katoa. Nau mai, haere mai ki te reo p艒whiri o Te Kura o K膩 Taitama o 艑tautahi. Mai te whenua ki rangi, mai te rangi ki te whenua, tihei mauri ora.

To the thousands, to the many, to the four winds (to everyone). We greet you all. We extend the welcoming greetings of Christchurch Boys鈥� High School. From the earth to the heavens, from the heavens to the earth (encompassing all things), let there be life (an introduction into the 鈥渨ords of life鈥� that will follow).

Christchurch Boys鈥� High School falls within the rohe of who advise us at a strategic level.

Our active Wh膩nau Group include families from a wide variety of New Zealand iwi and they meet regularly along with a member of the school鈥檚 senior management to monitor and support the progress the school is making with its M膩ori students.

All wh膩nau are welcome to attend Wh膩nau Hui which are held monthly at the school.

Though few in number, our Pasifika students bring great heart to our school and add to our school culture in a unique way.

At 杏吧视频app our school motto of Altiora Peto 鈥� Seek Higher Things, helps to encourage our Pasifika students to put their best foot forward and honour those that have gone before.

Meaningful relationships are created and fostered through the co-curricular activities that the school offers to our students of which there is a high participation rate from our Pasifika students in both sport and culture.

In educating fine young men towards outstanding achievement, 杏吧视频app has numerous avenues to cater for Pasifika students and their family鈥檚 needs. Our vision being that their experience at school is positive with strong healthy relationships formed so that our Pasifika students can help make New Zealand and the world a better place.
