Tenable preference for a University Bachelor of Commerce Degree
Available for students who areabout to enter University. Preference is given to those studying for theBachelor of Commerce degree. This Scholarship will be awarded based on the current year’s Level 3 NCEA results (all subjects). This scholarship is available for the first three years of study provided satisfactory academic performance is maintained.

This scholarship which was established in 2022 is based on a bequest from Gordon and Mary Vincent and managed by Perpetual Guardian Trust.
The Gordon and Mary Vincent Scholarship has been made available to ӰƵapp to enable a student (or students) to enrol at any New Zealand Medical School for the purpose of qualifying in medicine. In determining the winner (or winners) the committee will consider diligence in study, good general conduct, and comparative inability to attend medical school though economic circumstances.
The scholarship can be continued until the winner (or winners) have qualified in medicine or can be terminated at an earlier date having regard to general progress or varying financial circumstances.
The amount of the scholarship payment will vary each year and will be determined by the income from the Trust and the number of applicants. The total amount expended in 2024 was $26,000.

Established in 1950, these scholarships are for students of Christchurch Boys’ High School proceeding to study at Canterbury University. They are awarded to students for each NCEA Level 3 Scholarship gained.
The maximum value payable for this scholarship is $10,000 in total for the current year.
